New Hampshire Farm, Forest & Garden Expo 2026: From Soil to Sawdust

The 43rd annual New Hampshire Farm, Forest & Garden Expo returns with a hands-on, family-friendly celebration of agriculture, forestry, and land stewardship across the Granite State. This year’s theme, “From Soil to Sawdust: How New Hampshire Makes Ag Happen,” highlights the full journey of local resources—showing how they’re transformed into the food, tools, and everyday products people rely on.

The event takes place Friday, May 1 (9:00 am–5:00 pm) and Saturday, May 2 (9:00 am–4:00 pm) at the Deerfield Fairgrounds. Attendees can enjoy two full days of live demonstrations, expert-led workshops, operating machinery, barnyard animals, lumberjack shows, and free horse-drawn wagon rides. With interactive exhibits for all ages, the Expo offers something for families, gardeners, landowners, makers, and anyone interested in how things are grown, built, and created in New Hampshire.

Visitors are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and watch skilled professionals in action. Whether you're there to learn or simply enjoy a day out, the Expo is a chance to connect with the people and practices that help sustain the state.

Tickets will be available at Gate E for $10 per person, while children 12 and under get in free. All adult ticket holders will also be entered into a drawing for an overnight stay for up to two adults and two children—including three meals—in a deluxe accommodation (if available) during Summer 2026 at The Inn at East Hill Farm.
