Sabrina Carpenter Granted Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker

Pop star Sabrina Carpenter has obtained a temporary restraining order against a man accused of stalking her Los Angeles home and attempting to break in.

Court documents show 31-year-old William Applegate allegedly tried to enter the property on May 23 and returned twice after being arrested for trespassing. Carpenter told the court she fears for her safety, describing the incidents as deeply disturbing.

The order requires Applegate to stay at least 100 yards away from Carpenter, her home, and family members living with her. A court hearing is scheduled for June 17 to determine whether the order will become permanent.
