New Hampshire's two largest cities are Manchester and Nashua saw a drop in overdoses in August.

American Medical Response reported 47 total suspected overdoses in August, 35 in Manchester and 12 in Nashua, which is 6% below the 12-month average.

The experts believe that both cities are trending toward historic lows. Overall, Manchester is 24% lower than the numbers reported in 2024. Nashua also reported numbers that were 11% lower than the previous year, but the city is still trending 43% higher in opioid deaths.
