Hello, and happy Sunday! It’s Sunday, September 13th, 2026. I’m Riley, and welcome to Community Connections on HITS 95!

This week on Community Connections, we’re talking about funding moving forward for Manchester schools’ mental health and safety campaign.

Let’s get started!

A proposed $10,000 funding increase for Manchester schools’ mental health and safety campaign is moving forward.

Members of the Manchester School Board raised questions about the additional cost, as well as the potential benefits of rebranding the initiative.

Despite those concerns, the Finance and Facilities Subcommittee unanimously approved the request.

The proposal will now move on to the full Manchester Board of School Committee for consideration.

And that’s a look at this week’s Community Connections.

Thank you for tuning in to Community Connections on HITS 95! I’m Riley, and I’ll be back next Sunday with another edition of Community Connections.

Have a great week, and bye for now!
