Deerfield to Host National Night Out Community Event Tuesday

The Town of Deerfield is inviting residents to come together for an evening of food, family fun and community engagement during its annual National Night Out celebration.

The event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will give residents the opportunity to meet local public servants and learn more about the services provided by several town departments, including the Police Department, Fire Department and Highway Department.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign held on the first Tuesday in August. The event is designed to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the community while promoting neighborhood camaraderie and crime prevention awareness.

Town officials encourage residents of all ages to attend, enjoy refreshments and activities, and connect with the public safety personnel and municipal employees who serve the Deerfield community.
