Doja Cat Blasts Tyga Over AI Use on ‘$TARFACE’ Album

Doja Cat is calling out Tyga for his use of AI on his latest album, $TARFACE. During a livestream, the GRAMMY winner referred to Tyga as a “penis” while criticizing the rapper for incorporating AI into the project, which centers around an alter ego of the same name.

The album has faced additional backlash from critics, including a score of 0 from Pitchfork. Tyga, however, has defended his decision to embrace AI, comparing the controversy to the criticism Auto-Tune received when it first became popular. He also maintains that the songwriting and vocals on $TARFACE were entirely his own.
