Family Remembers Whitefield Shooting Victims as ‘Full of Life’

A family member is remembering the victims of an apparent murder-suicide in Whitefield as “full of life.”

Authorities say 29-year-old Eric Blake Junior shot three family members at the Hilltop Manor Trailer Park on August 11 before taking his own life.

His mother, Amy Blake, and brother, Michael Marro, later died from their injuries. His father survived and is recovering.

A relative says the family was close-knit and well-known in the community, and hopes they’ll be remembered for their lives—not the tragedy.

The investigation remains ongoing.
