Hudson Man Arrested After Police Pursuit into Litchfield


Hudson police arrested a 47-year-old man on DWI and other charges following a pursuit into Litchfield Wednesday night.


Police say an officer spotted Ryan McMorrow of Hudson driving more than 80 miles per hour on Derry Road around 9 p.m. Authorities say McMorrow failed to stop and led police into a Litchfield neighborhood, where the pursuit ended.


McMorrow faces aggravated DWI, DWI and disobeying a police officer charges. He was released on personal recognizance and is due in court in September.

Fire Breaks Out at Homeless Encampment in Concord


Concord fire officials are investigating a fire that broke out at a homeless encampment Wednesday night.


Crews responded shortly after 7:30 p.m. to reports of an outdoor fire behind a building on South Main Street, near the CSX rail yard.


Firefighters arrived to find an area about 30 feet by 30 feet burning, including the encampment.


No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

3-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Accidental Shooting in Hooksett


A 3-year-old child is recovering after accidentally shooting themself with a firearm found inside a vehicle in Hooksett.


Police say the child entered a vehicle parked in the driveway of a Whitehall Road home around 6:30 Wednesday evening and gained access to the gun.


The child suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Elliot Hospital before being flown to a Boston hospital.


Police say the incident remains under investigation and criminal charges could be filed.
