Teen Accused in Portsmouth Airport Runway Breach
A teenager is accused of crashing through a fence and hitting a plane at Portsmouth International Airport over the weekend.
The incident is considered a “runway incursion,” when an unauthorized person or vehicle enters an area used for aircraft takeoffs and landings.
Federal data show 33 runway incursions have been reported across New England since October 2025.
Londonderry Police, which covers Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, says officers are trained to quickly locate and stop potential threats during similar security breaches.
Legal Battle Grows Over Cher’s Son’s Estate
A legal battle is growing over who should oversee the affairs of Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman.
The 50-year-old remains hospitalized at New Hampshire Hospital while facing charges connected to separate incidents in Windham and Concord.
Court documents show Cher is seeking a conservatorship in California, while Allman’s estranged wife has filed her own request. His brothers, Devon Allman and Chaz Bono, have also sought guardianship in New Hampshire.
Cher is now asking a California judge to delay proceedings for 120 days while the New Hampshire guardianship case moves forward.
Dover Man Held Without Bail in Online Solicitation Case
A Dover man accused of soliciting someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl will remain jailed without bail.
Police say 32-year-old Andrew Fawcett was communicating with an adult decoy from the group Predator Poachers. Investigators later developed their own evidence in the case.
Fawcett faces several felony charges, including indecent exposure and lewdness. Prosecutors also cited his previous sexual assault convictions and sex-offender registration requirement.
A judge ordered Fawcett held without bail pending a probable cause hearing September 9.
