Manchester Standoff Ends in Arrest

A man is in custody following a standoff in Manchester Tuesday morning.

Police say the incident began around 8:30 on Laurel Street, where officers, SWAT teams, and K-9 units responded to reports that 50-year-old Edward Kleinfeldt was inside a home he was ordered to stay away from under bail conditions.

Negotiators spoke to him over a loudspeaker as the standoff continued for about an hour and a half.

Kleinfeldt was eventually arrested and is now facing multiple charges, including breach of bail.
