Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has praised Charli XCX as a “wonderful and lovely” friend, revealing in a recent radio interview that she once joined the singer for a rave. Rodrigo admitted she was “out of her element” but said Charli made the experience enjoyable. The support goes both ways, with Rodrigo recently backing Charli’s upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film, due out July 24. Meanwhile, Rodrigo is preparing to release her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, on June 12. The singer says the record was inspired by experiencing romantic love for the first time.
