Taylor Swift Returns to Country Roots with New Pixar Song

Taylor Swift is returning to her country roots with the release of her new song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," featured in Disney and Pixar's upcoming film Toy Story 5.

The track, released Friday, marks Swift's first new music since her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl. Swift described the song as both a creative departure and a return home, saying she was inspired by her lifelong love of the Toy Story franchise.

Swift co-wrote the song with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff for the character Jessie. Toy Story 5 is set to hit theaters on June 19.
